Some of us didn't grow up eating vegetables as much as we do now. I guess our mentality was different! It was all about meat and potatoes...and if we had any vegetables, they were cooked so much that it is truly understandable why we didn't like them! Now we know better. You can get a assortment of nutrients from fresh veggies and live a healthy life. I grew up in Peru, and our diet was just that: fresh fish and seafood, great meats, and either fries or rice with every meal (and sometimes both: double starch!). That was then, and now I can't stop my veggies or cooking them for you. Include them always in your diet, and you'll start feeling better, your health issues will diminish and will start feeling awesome! To our Health!
